charming stay with convenient access
professional receptionist good breakfast harbour view central location
The receptionist was fast and professional! the breakfast offered a good selection. my room included a balcony overlooking the harbour. the location is near main historical places, it's really great. the shopping centre and many restaurants were just minutes away. It was so nice.
the room smelled faintly of pool chemicals, it wasn't too bad, but i did notice it.

the breakfast offered a varied and plentiful selection. there were gluten-free options available which is super. the bar menu provided a light meal option if you did not want a proper dinner. the food was AMAZING!!!

this hotel is conveniently located near the cruise terminal. it's really easy to access the town centre from here. the west quay shopping area is within easy walking distance. i also found inexpensive parking just outside the hotel.

helpful staff convenient location unclear parking confusing process
the staffs are friendly and willing to help. breakfast was good i found. location wise, the hotel is near several restaurants that were convenient.
the explanation for parking was unclear on the website. the check in process seemed confusing and lack explanation. it needs to be better.

the breakfast had a lot of variety. the staff were very helpful and kind, especially when i needed directions. parking was available at the hotel for a reasonable fee.
The room felt a little dated. The bathrooms need some updating. the spa's stairs to the pool were very steep. the steam room didn't work that day, a shame!

Acceptable Stay with NOTICEABLE ISSUES
urine smell mismatched suite
The staff were friendly at the front desk.
My room smelled strongly of urine upon arrival , REALLY impacting my first impression. The suite I booked did NOT match the online images , a SUPER DISAPPOINTMENT. Late checkout was denied WITHOUT ANY explanation , causing further frustration.

The staff were helpful. They stored our luggage when we arrived early. they even delivered it to our room once it was ready! a city map was provided, with suggested sites we could visit. a taxi was also arranged for us. This service.
The room could have been a bit cleaner. I noticed dust in some corners

Acceptable stay
river view superb breakfast dirty laundry blocked doorway
The room faced the front. It offered a nice view of the River Test. The breakfast was superb. The hotel is a short walk to the West Quay centre and High Street restaurants.
I found a pile of dirty laundry outside my door. I called reception and they said housekeeping would clear it. It blocked the doorway, but it was still there hours later. I moved it aside myself.
